Labor Day Parade
Local 41 Heat and Frost Insulators are proud to walk among our other trades in the Labor Day Parade in Lima, Ohio. Labor Day is a day to celebrate the workers; the men, and women who do the jobs to keep this country running and at the Allen County Lima Parade those workers get the recognition for their dedication.
Parades have a way to bring a community together and the annual Labor Day Parade does more than that. It's a way to say thank you. Back in 1882, the first Labor Day Parade was held in New York City as people took to the streets to call for less work and more pay. The calls were answered thanks to unions like the Insulators Union, Carpenter's Union and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers who continue to watch out for the men and women who build our communities.
